- Authorised persons (Users) can be added or deleted in seconds, with no disruption to other users.
- Cards or Keyfobs referred to as (Tags) require no contact with the reader. In most circumstances holding a tag close to the reader even though it may be in a Bag or pocket, will read the Tag and open the door if valid.
- Tags require no batteries. They are powered from the reader. Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID).
- Each User has there own unique Tag or pin code.
- Each user has a unique encrypted Tag. If lost or stolen a new Tag can be issued and the old one deleted by using the system programme card.
- Support for up to 500 user Tags, these can be Cards or Key fobs or a mixture of both.
- Controllers are the size of a standard square light switch box and can be installed in a secure area.
- If power is lost, the controller will retain the programmed cards or keyfobs for many years.
- The huge benefits of higher security are obvious, but the operational cost saving can be overlooked.
